Saskatchewan

It's been raining draws! Let’s look at them in brief.

Saskatchewan is betting on a sharp increase in migration beginning this year as a way to boost the country’s economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Saskatchewan has issued 748 Canada migration invitations in its fourth Expression of Interest draw in a month through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. The July 28 draw featured 469 invitations through Saskatchewan’s Occupations In-Demand stream, with a minimum score of 68.

The draw also featured 279 invitations through the province’s Express Entry stream, again requiring a minimum score of 68.Those invitations targeted 19 National Occupational Classification codes. The applicants are hopeful that they may get nomination through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) by using their Nomination Certificate and submit a Canada permanent residence application to Migration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Saskatchewan PNP invites newcomers to settle in Saskatchewan as permanent residents. You can immigrate to Saskatchewan under any of the program categories that best fit your requirements.

The SINP is one of the ways to immigrate to Canada. Saskatchewan uses the SINP to invite Canada PR visa applications from foreign nationals who want to settle in Saskatchewan. An applicant that is an SINP nominee must then submit their permanent residence application to IRCC.
