Canada invites 4,250 candidates in latest all-program Express Entry draw
Since July 6, this was the eighth all-program draw.
On October 12, 2022, Canada hosted its most recent all-program Express Entry draw.
Since they resumed on July 6, it was the eighth all-program draw.
4,250 applicants who received a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 500 received invites from IRCC. Candidates were eligible to obtain invites from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), all of which are Express Entry-accredited programmes.
Beginning in December 2020, Express Entry all-program draws were suspended for a period of more than 18 months. Only those who qualified for the CEC or the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received invitations to apply throughout the hiatus (ITAs). Due to a backlog of applications brought on by COVID-19-related travel restrictions, the draws were put on hold. The IRCC also stopped holding lotteries for the CEC in September 2021.
